Dak Prescott’s late mother, Peggy, instilled in him the moral compass that continues to guide him today. He lives his life by the three words of encouragement she often spoke: Faith. Fight. Finish.
Because of the loss he has experienced, Dak’s empathy and ability to connect deeply and genuinely with people is at the core of his charitable work. “Losing my mom and watching her fight motivated me. As much as I can raise awareness and educate people on how to get ahead of cancer, showing how to make your adversity your inspiration is probably the most significant goal,” says Dak. “It’s about how to face adversity and use it to make you a better person, to think positively and take the better path because of it.”

“It’s a blessing to have this platform,” Dak shares. “To be at this stage, at this position in my life to be able to connect and interact with so many people, so many kids, and so many people with disadvantages. There are so many families that need help and just need loving and a smile. And I’ve accepted it. It’s a big responsibility, but I love it.”
It’s been four years since Dak lost his mother to cancer, but her influence and inspiration live on through Faith Fight Finish. The most exciting part may be just how far the message can spread as his star continues to rise!
